AVOID PAIN AFTER SURGERY
ARUNDEL, GOLD COAST
HAD BUNION SURGERY BUT STILL HAVE PAIN?
DO YOU STILL HAVE BUNION PAIN AFTER BUNION SURGERY?
We have seen a number of clients after bunion surgery.
Sometimes the surgery is a complete success. But unfortunately, we see a number of clients where the bunion surgery has not been successful. They still have bunion pain and now they have to compensate in other areas which have become painful.
When the joints in the feet are misaligned this leads to bunion development, which can lead to fusing the big toe or removing the bunion.
However, if the underlying cause is not addressed then the bony lump can grow back after it has been removed.
Or worse, other areas in the body can start to hurt. If the big toe is fused it can not function the way it is meant. This can result in ankle pain, knee pain or hip pain as we have to alter the way we walk.
If you still have bunion pain after bunion surgery make an appointment with one of our experienced practitioners who treat the underlying cause of the bunion pain to prevent you needing more bunion surgery.
